Carolina Reis is an incoming Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems (MIS) at Terry College of Business, University of Georgia. She completed her Ph.D. in Information Systems at Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech.​

Her research focuses on human-AI behavior:

1. how the introduction of AI systems into social and organizational ecosystems alters human beliefs and behaviors

2. how humans themselves shape AI systems through the training of these systems using active human input
