But when I (we) was (were) younger, when I (we) was (were) younger

I had the answers, I’ve got to say

But all of my answers, now that I’m a PhD

Turned into questions, in front of me

​

I wonder where we go when we get tenured

If there is anything past all our research findings and panel discussions?

Cuz our ivory towers only take us so high

Is it hidden in the knowledge outside our human mind?

What's the answer to our soul's light?
